patrick jannin - brutal reality with a dash of fantasy
I stumbled upon the works of Belfort, France artist and painter Patrick Jannin. Jannin's works are bitter, existential, jarring, and really awesome art brut. I admire his guts, his skill, and the challenge to the brain in his message. In his own words, he is merely the messenger: "Peintre de l'absurde, je ne fais que témoigner. Si vous vouliez bien vous regarder EN FACE, vous comprendriez".
